By Barra you mean the BA twin cam? I was told they produce around 140KW standard and 160kw chiped with basic mods. Are you running that engine now? how hard was the conversion?

DOHC is 190Kw motor, about 145-150RwKw. You don't chip the DOHC, they are flash tuned.

Some progress on the XR6.

I decided to pull out the old carpet because it was fairly rough; bought some new molded carpet off ebay from Knox auto carpets, fits pretty decently, but you need to cut all the holes yourself. I've only done the rear so far as I'm installing some audio at the same time. Note, if you do the same, you should buy some carpet underlay and spray on glue and copy the original carpet.

Finally got the wheels properly painted in a very nice metallic silver, and put some new roadstone tyres on it, which are apparently great value for money.

Going to stick them on tomorrow.

Wheels look mint in the silver, opposed to the chrome.

Coming along nicely Rutchhzzooee
