Man, this thing is sexual! Make sure someone gets videos of it if you take it to WSID, would be awesome to see/hear it in action

As much as i would love to keep it loud, the defect sticker on the windscreen isnt worth it!

The new muffler is on today and she still sounds awsome, its taken alot of the unwanted noise out of her so i can daily drive her. The twin system will be put back on for specail occasions only.

Cheers Matt

Did you get it down the strip? It makes an interesting comparison to an EL over here, 363 stroker but using AFR 185s and RPMII intake.

I was in Melbourne when I got a txt saying that something happen at the track, unfortunatly on the second run 3 gear decided to not play anymore.... to much torque for the box, the other thing now is that the pricks in the states that guaranteed the box said that it would hold this power & are now uncontactable..... tipical !! Matt's going to try a legal approach in getting some compansation..

Bummer about the Gforce box, maybe time to consider a TKO?

As stated by Joe the G force T5 let go of 3rd gear after my second run ever, NOT HAPPY about that  !!!

First run ever I ran a 14.1 @108mph missing second gear.
Second run I got nothing but wheel spin in all of 1st then chirped into second and as soon as she got traction she launched, shifted into 3rd and bang all over :( .

I'v had a lot of time to think what gearbox to use next.
I'v tossed up if its worth it or not to rebuild the box with the astro T5 kit, witch is suppose to have a revised third gear desing to stop it breaking. But I will be scared of it breaking shifting hard into gears again.
So I looked into the tko 600 and again iv read guys in the states breaking 3rd gear with simular power to me, so that wasn't an option.
So after alot of thinking I'v decided to go a Tremec T56 MAGNUM witch is pretty much the strongest manual box I can get.

http://www.americanpowertrain.com/pop-T56-Magnum.html

The T56 MAGNUM is obvisoly a 6 speed transmission, based on a Tremec TR6060 (FG XR6 turbo box). The box is rated to 700ftlb of tourqe witch will give me peice of mind that im not going to break it.
I'v peiced together a bit of a conversion kit witch has actually turned out to be cheaper then i thought it would. Witch consists of,

*Tremec T56 MAGNUM $3700
*T56 to windsor bellhousing $700
*31 spline slip yoke $150
*Shortened Tailshaft $150
*Custom gearbox mounts
*Shift Kits Speedo corrector $150
*Spec twin plate 26 spline clutch $1100

I'm picking up my new box along with a bellhousing to suite and a 31 spline slip yoke in around 2 weeks from Dellow conversions, I'm going to be running a cable clutch setup untill i decide to convert to hydraulic.
I will be getting my tailshaft shrotened and I need some custom gearbox mounts made up.
I already have a 26 spline twin plate clutch and a speedo corector.

So thats Pretty much where I'm up to, updates to follow.

Cheers Matt

That's possibly the toughest sounding e-series, at least on the eastern seaboard. It's a shame aboutthe g-force box, goodluck chasing them (if you do). That magnum box will withstand a flogging, the US guys seem to like them

Love those videos, any chance of a drive-by type video?
