No do not rub it back before the clear as the paint is a metallic.
Clear cloat and colour sand the clear once done. Myself I would of left the primer a few days to set properly before painting colour.

Based on that fact my Mum is the best around! |

Nothing like some trial and error.

{USERNAME} wrote: Nothing like some trial and error. Even when I read the instructions, a lot of stuff I do ends up like that. So, after applying the clear last night and drying overnight, it's looking pretty good. I can't wait to see what it will look like in a couple of weeks when I colour sand it. |

Problem solved?
{DESCRIPTION} This afternoon while waiting in line at the servo with the air con on for about 5 minutes, I watched the temp gauge climb up to mid scale. Normally it runs around the N of NORMAL. Anyways, I'm thinking that my clutch fan might be getting tired. Since a new one costs $80 I was thinking of upgrading to thermo fans. Now, my mate is wrecking his 25 anniversary XF and I am getting the wheels off it for a carton (same as NAII Fairlane) because mine are getting a bit low on tread and rego is coming up in a couple of months. AAAnd he had AU thermos on it. So would these fit on my car without too much trouble? Cheers, Evan. |

Thermos will be a good upgrade Ev, unfortunately I have no idea whether AU thermos will fit
As always, I'm willing to lend a hand if you need someone to pass tools around!
