The gray is what comes off with fine grit sand paper. Unless its uneven and very patchy then yeah its within the alloy itself unfortunately.

the gray had come off back to alloy and i tried spray putty but was no good

so ive decided to install my ebay special fuel reg i received today. brilliant quality but it was a **** of a job to install....first pressure was set too hight and car would simply not start....then the battery went flat because i kept on trying to crank it.... but through blood sweat and tears it got done and the dial works perfect as it should.

Hey man, didn't you put a youtube video up saying you were getting rid of this?, I commented on it with the remote start for my EF etc, its good to see you decided to keep it and I see you updated the engine.

Yeah ...i was. It has that effect on me im still trying to get rid of it lol.

The bay is very very different but not finished from what it was on youtube.

hahahaha the troll lights...once i had tinted tinted standard...got done for too dark.
then i rage quit and fitted the clear ones....got done for too light and no red reflectors...told everyone to s*** a d*** and gone out of my way fitted standard ones....they are now staying :)

lucky i sold my clear ones with a profit. :D

Haha yeah will admit was going To get some but prefer standards now, and wanting to get xr6 lights soon.

uh yeah mate xr6 headlights, getting bored of the standard ones but if not a huge thing atm, slowly getting stuff for the au engine conversion (slowly unfortuantly :( ).

ive got a set of headlights ed xr6 for sale...but no nosecone...inbox me if you want to...

better to be slow and precise...that way.

How much did they cost you if you don't mind me asking, want the excately same but half black rather then gold.

well in e series offset aswell i got them for a bargain.... $400 with whatever tyres (im not fussed, i barely drive the car to get these checks anyway)

the face is gold wrapped but the inserts are metalic silver (looks white)...you mean you want ones with black inserts?
