I was thinking about staying local but with a difrence of 1000 bucks I no movement not even for cash in hand

That's not really true. Prices in places like Mackay prices are high because of all the mining workers. Huge pay means greedy landlords put the cost of rental property up, which pushes up the cost of property in general which pushes up the cost industrial rental and retail rental. The only way for businesses to cover the costs is to put prices up. It's true across all major mining towns. A small portion of it comes from freight, But I can freight a complete engine from Brisbane to Townsville for $150, or a complete LPG system including tank for $80. Exhaust places ordering in bulk aren't really paying much per item in freight costs. Also very true I'm going to ring some places in townsvile to see what they can offer they are closer then Brisbane but if Brisbane is the best offer I guess I'm going on a trip down south Give some townsville places a hit, but prices are starting creep here too. |

Any one know of a place I can get my stiching color changed? The orange on the car I think would look better with red xr stiching rather then the stock blue

Depends what sort of money you want to through around...
Either buy new genuine trim (swear there is stock red stitching on some model), aftermarket trim, or go to an interior place, I'm not sure if they can just restitch it though. Would be a very tricky process to stitch it through the same holes. Could be custom interior time :p

The ba model had red stitching they had multiple colors I just don't think the blue goes with the orange

The only colour stitching you can get or XR colour is basically blue and grey, there used to be a few colours but i guess people werent really choosing colours so i think they decided to choose it for them, and even blue is rare to get im still trying to get a front drivers mate with blue xr on it which is on back order still, not sure when ill get it thats if i do

I work for a ford dealership, im there car detailer for the new cars, all thats left is grey or blue in what ever car you get, but if you get a blue car most likely its blue stictching etc... We had issues with carpet mats for a customer xr6 ute cause the mk2 already comes with driver mat with correct colour the guys just grabbed anything and stuck it in which the colour on the passenger xr was grey, so after an hour of trying to sort something out we were able to find another dealer to help us out.
