Yeah, lowered all round on Super Lows. Sits nicely, about 5mm tyre to guard distance. I put my 16's back on for a little bit as I did a few 3000rpm launches the other week, which resulted in huge amounts of wheel spin. Used a little too much tread doing so lol

I think with being able to launch that hard on the strip, a 13.99 will be achievable with current setup (it was like 13c at the time of launch testing, so nice and cold). Also did normal 2000rpm launches, which were resulting in 5.8-5.85s 0-100 times. My best 0-100 for the strip was 6.05, so the 60ft will drop heaps.

Nice!!! But how do you get to 2000 or 3000rpm?? Mine loses traction at 1200-1500rpm

Good tyres and brakes. I hold the brake on hard as can be, accelerate as hard as i can and then just drop the brake. i thought the fg only had a 2000rpm stall, but it was letting me stall up at 3000rpm. It could also be the transmission slipping, but it's still putting down good 0-100 times @ 2000rpm launch with very cold temps.

Must be good brakes cause like I said doesn't mater how hard I brake I lose traction before 2000

Shi* hey. I've only got slotted n drilled rotors with bendix pads, but they make a huge difference for braking and at a fraction of the price for brembo / 4pot upgrade.

same price really. i didn't go with expensive ones, as I'll be upgrading to a turbo for my opens but I just wanted better brakes all round and these do the job quite easily. think i paid like $400 tops for the rotors and pads, and then another $150 to install (albeit I did have tyres fitted and balanced at same time, so could of been cheaper again).

Why don't you just buy an XR6T when you get your opens instead of mucking around with this?

It's a bit special to me, I've know it for over 10 years, it's sentimental I guess lol...

I wasn't having a go either, just interested as to why you're turboing an almost new XR6 when you could sell up and throw the money you're going to spend on getting this turboed and buy an XR6T with all the goodies already installed?

Just asking :D
