Like I said, unless you're pushing a lot more power there really is no need for anything too grippy.
I still have about 85% tread after 5000km and I've ripped quite a few skids in that time also...

I'll probably be selling my FG in a few weeks anyway. Get myself a work ute if I get this job out west, screw having a city type car in the country lol would be destroyed if I hit a skippy

Any chance off selling your exhaust?

Haha I might keep it as the weekend ride, time will tell... so who knows what might happen hey.

If I do sell, I'd be keeping the exhaust on it. If I still have it in a month or 2 and I got a few grand up my sleeve, I'll give her a tune. Then take her down the 1/4 again to see what she's got.

All plans have their flaws, and mine was setting my goals too high lol especially since I've not had a job in 2 months... really makes things difficult.

agreed 1100 bucks of invos on my car atm, can say it tamed my driving greatly

Haha at least you'd be able to limiter launch the old girl and only get some wheel spin ;)
I can't even launch at 2500rpm without spinning all the way to 120...

I know the feeling I'm currently looking for full time work cause my causal job just isn't cutting it so if I get full time in saving up getting my exhaust and tune done then going coil overs and looking at my strip kit then maybe some tinted led tail lights really need to brake up the orange on the car it's really over powering I wanted to do the extractors and car with my exhaust but the guy said no point for the extractors if I'm going turbo I should just do the exhaust and change the cat when I have money for a tune so I don't trip an engine light cause I'm under warranty ford will flip a tree if they seen an engine light or I could wait until my next service then that gives me 12months to save for a tune and turn off my engine light

Everyone keeps telling me the dunlops on my factory 16's are a great tyre and will grip better than my Achilles... I've yet to be proven right lol

They light up so much easier than the 17's. All it takes is a stab coming out of a turn and they're screaming their t!ts off and smoking the place out. At least with the achilles i've really gotta boot her in 1st or 2nd to get some traction loss.

If I had a LSD in the a$$ end, I would be a little happier as it would make it a lot more predictable on where the back is going if it steps out. Open centre diffs scare me, especially after the BA.

Mine loses traction traction in 3rd sometimes but I'm with you I hate and I do mean HATE! Open centre it's so unpredictable LSD is something I really need

In 3rd hey, that's my pull gear for anything over 90 lol

Yeah, I had my BA go LS on me mid skid and it snapped the back end around and put me into a tree... Good fun lol I think I liked my BA a bit more when I first got it, compared to the FG. Although the FG does have a cr@p load more power and actually sounded a lot nicer stock for stock.

I'll be putting the rear muffler back on next weekend if I got time. Just gotta find a hanger that's intact... Might have some spares on the old system I gave to Josh.

I get to 120 in second and I can't stall mine up I lose traction to easy so I figured LSD in the long run will save me money cause harder to wheel spin

Harder to wheel spin, but once it does = fun times.
If I do go LSD, it will be a TruTrac. I want something that is going to lock-up properly.
