catback isnt a brand, its a style. Means you get a new exhaust from the cat converter to the end. (cat converter is straight after the manifold, under the car). Redback is what most people run but theyre all the same, 2.5inch is the going size for a six pot.
As for lowering, $800?!, those grinding discs must be made out of solid gold.

You can lower a car DIY for $800 .. also seen plenty of secondhand lowered spring and shock kits for less then $300.

$800 DIY? it only cost me $850 at shop for super low kings and pedders shocks in my old au...

lowering your car will depend how deep your pockets are. You can spend as little as $100 (second hand springs only) to $2500+ (new springs + shocks). If you just want it to look good but ride like hell, then it can be done cheaply...if you want it to look lowered with comfortable ride, spend more.

I know you wont listen to this but Im gonna say it anyway.
If you want it to look like an XR, sell it and buy an XR.
It'll never be as good and its only really a couple of grand extra youd need for a genuine car.
Nothing when you take into account a nosecone and kit painted
About the same actually

I was watching this one closely

They are out there man and you'll kick yourself when you coulda bought that but instead made yours look a tiny bit less crap for the same money.
Dont take it the wrong way but Ive been there done that, and nothing beats saying "yeah, we'll take the XR" or "I'll meet you there in the XR" or "I'm wayyy too p****d to drive, we'll just f**k in the back of my XR"
