Yes you are right, Easier and easier. We fully documented everything and know what additional components we need.

The best thing about a convertion of this nature using the latest Power PC from BA BF or FG are the benifits of CAN bus and the multitude of tuning product and CAN bus dash boards that are available on the market.

On initial start up we used our DASh DAQ as a real time dash board to monitor engine stats and ensure that the engine was doing what it should.

We are open to offering our advice on Power PC convertion for anyone attempting to go the distance.

Fantastic news.. you'll have to bring it out on the next cruise. Bet it'll feel good to take her for a drive after all this time.

I agree with gogetta. It wouldn't have hurt them to pop in every now and then with an update. You know "having trouble finding wiring books for BA", "Need someone to fashion a bracket for BA throttle", etc, etc.

They've copped a flogging for 2 months off us with bad press. Now to pop up only when its finished and claim glory is a bit rough.

hopefully BPT has all the Ford books. theyre all out there.. EA -- > BF
having in pdf means it'll never rip a page or get finger prints all over it which is a blessing.. my normal ford manual has taken a beating :S dirty fingerprints and the binder broke so now its got cable ties holding it togethor.

just lad its finally complete. me and everyone were proberly on the edge of their seat.. i know i was.

also hoping that it was going to be running in the end and not get slipped under the carpet as a "cant do job" as what happened with dan's xr6 conversion in his ea.. sat in the workshop for ages and ended up not working out in the end which is a real shame.

maybe now he might rethink the Project EA.. this maybe the motorvation he needs..

my 2cents.

Tim.

Yeah for sure, wasn't the easiest job in the world. At least they're doing the right thing by me, BPT are going to do a full tune on it to gain max performance out of the engine. Sweeeeet. I'm happy now, all i wanted was for the car to be started and run, now i know that can/has been done, i'm extremely happy. That's all my main concern was about, trying to get the thing running.

now it has been done, no doubt many people will be going to BPT for the electrical side of the conversion...

- to get engine and fit yourself = 1K ( give or take abit )
- BPT to sort out the wiring = 1.5k

pretty cheap conversion in the end...

even if you have to wait a decade for it to get done...
