Not as yet mate, still trying to gather all the required bits and pieces. Will probably get a cooler within the next couple of weeks and have a crack at mounting that up to the car.

Car I just bought has a Fairlane cluster too.. has 145,000 on it.. so I'm gonna suffocate in space.

Just in case you don't notice my other post.. I'll save the cooler for you.. be good to see it go to someone I kinda know and for a good purpose..

G'day mate! Yeah she's still plugging along. Still gathering turbo bits and pieces, been on a bit of a frenzy over the past couple of weeks getting parts.

No progress on the transmission though, i think all that excitement was a small stroke haha. I'll get the turbo sorted first before i think about the gearbox. I'm not the kind of person to drive flat out everywhere, so i'm kinda confident that it will stay in one piece for a while.

All in all, i'm getting there...slowly

Hey Fordman, How's that weapon coming along. If you need any help with the turbo install let us know. ( e.g wiring & whatnot ). I actually have diagrams if you need. Cheers buddy.

Thanks mate, nothings changed, still gathering parts. I appreciate the support, i've actually got the genuine BA workshop manual on PDF, man it's come in handy haha.

matt, ive begun stripping my F6 motor of s**t i dont need

- coolant hoses with the oil filter sandwich (cools oil by running coolant through sandwich plate)
(the lines that wrap around motor etc)
will do for CHEAP AS f**k for ya matty

- butterflyless BBM (minus TB, and im still unsure about Map Sensor, will let you know)

and matt, turbo return oil line is cheap
the 3/4" telfon stainless braided line is like $80 for a metre of it, then you need the barb fitting for sump and the turbo drain fitting

ill have more parts off my phoon motor... will keep you in form matt :)

Schweet as bro! So which metal lines have you got? The turbo coolant feed and return? If they're the ones i'll nab them for sure! As for the turbo oil drain, i'm going to stick with the stock line, i'm just being fussy now haha.

I've managed to score a butterflied lower manifold, i've already gutted it and just need to dab a bit of weld in the hole at the front of it.
