Wow, progress is looking good! Bummer about the insurance bill, can't you pay it by the month? I'd be just about bankrupt for a whole month if i had to pay mine in one lump sum for the 4 car's on it. I'm glad Shannons let's me pay by the month!

Cheers

Shannons are awesome!!!

Paint has come up a treat Fordman. Colour is awesome, bet it's nicer in person. A bit of body colour on the rocker cover will set it off perfectly. Some of that black and red braided hose would also look the goods.

Niiiice!!

8-) Daz 8-)

Bit of an update, just put the transmission back in this morning and just finishing and tidying a few things up. I decided against putting the fuses and relays inside the fender, just because if anything goes wrong, i don't have to crawl on the ground to try and find if theres a problem with them, which has happened in the past, the ECM relay packed it in :x but i have made all the wiring look tidy and i'll eventually put some kind of heat shield/box in that corner for the air filter, which will cover it all anyway.

Left to do (i think):

-Trans cooler and hoses
-Find suitable heater hoses
-Re-fit ECM
-Re-fit tailshaft
-Flush out sump
-Add coolant, power steer and trans fluid
-Mount cooler
-Have exhaust and cooler piping made
-ECM tune
-Re-fit bonnet and struts, bumper, inner guards etc
-Fit boost controller and gauge
-Fit battery and run battery cable
-Fit fuel pump and upgrade wiring.

...and that's all i can think of for now, i'm sure there's plenty of other smaller things to do.

Why yes Mr Frank, it does look quite luvverly, i told you i'd give it a good home and thanks again :D

Well, here's how i finished up today. Had to 'trim' the bumper ever so slightly to go over the cooler, but otherwise happy with how it sits. I ended up knocking together a couple of temporary cooler mounts, but was so happy with how they turned out and how the cooler sits i decided to keep them.

Looks evil without the lights 8-)

Have you still got the intake tube that goes from the airbox to the throttle body?
