Nice EB mate. Looks like a lot of time and effort has gone into it, top stuff

If you want to go custom on the intake piping you could always make something similar to this which would probably flow as good as it will get using the stock airbox, plus it would look pretty too :P ..

Nice ride mate.

The EA bottom hose does improve the car's power & performance a fair bit, especially with a Xh ute snorkle onto the airbox.

Cheers

Car is getting there mate. Good job so far.

As for suggestions for the interior, the typical mods are to upgrade to the equivalent model Fairmont or Fairmont Ghia or XR specs.

You can also combine the EB dash with EF/EL door trims. Check out Troymans build thread for examples of this.

Or you can go a whole way and do an interior conversion like I have.

You could add a bit of paint here and there, but be careful as it can easily look like crap if you don't balance the colours etc.

Cheers
BenJ

Because its an EB i still wanna keep it as one on the inside, but im gonna change the door trims to EL, and yeah the paint is screwy, i need a re-spray.

I have an issue tho....it takes off like a snail, its as if my diff is a 3.08, but its a 3.23, what ya think needs a propper tune, new diff???

Unfortunately, the first gear in the BTR Auto is REALLY tall. As you know you can pull over 80kph in first.

The only real solution is to fit much lower diff gears, 3.9s or 4.11s, but this costs plent of $$$$, min $800.

Another option is to get a high stall convertor put in, which would allow you to raise the revs more in gear before taking off.

This is one of the main reasons we convert to a manual gear box.

When I had my Red EB Sedan, it was an auto, and I originally had 3.23 gears. I sourced an XR6 diff with 3.45 LSD, and found this to be a small but noticeable improvement.

Cheers

When you install a stally, can you take off normally, like without slaming the box or diff when the drive engages? i was gonna stall it for a cam but i didnt no it could help takeoff, that and i wasnt sure if a high performance cam would kill my engine.

I can recomend my tuner. He's awesome at what he does & nicely priced.

Only bad thing he's down south. But theres a reason so many people from out north travel there.
