Well, i've been hangin around here for a while and i'm on night shift at the moment, so i thought it was about time i started a build thread..
I bought the fairlane a while ago from a family friend and thought i'd only keep it for a short while..
well, i was wrong...
the mod bug hit and it's been going ever since..
here's how she looke at the start..
Image

i soon got bored and put it on 17's
Image
Image

they didn't last long when i saw a set of 20's i liked..
also played around with the grille a bit..
Image

i found an LTD bonnet mould and bought chrome mirrors and blinged it up a bit..

i found TL50 door spears and t-bar on ebay and snapped them up very quick..
Image

put the in straight away and was stoked!!
along with an ESS steering wheel and i bought all the other T-series bits from ford... VERY expensive !!

Awesome build up so far KR1STO, it's come a long way from the Fairlane that it originally was. Top effort 8-)

Look forward to seeing pic's of it with the V8 bolted in

I Love Fairlanes expecialy in white. such a underated car, heaps better then the ugly stato and the AU v8 is such a nice sounding motor. throw a 346 stroker kit in her and she will fly mate

stroker is definitely on the cards...
for now i just want an 8... the stroker will come later on down the track...
and......... forced induction..
although it could be another 5 years in the making...

ultimately i'd love a 347 with a PD supercharger!!
