i gotta say...i love tinted tailights on gunmetal grey..
i decided to tint the clear strip as well.
i thought it would better suit my car.
and im glad i done it :)
just one and a bit coat of tint for those wondering..
opinons? :D

Looks nice man, i actually reckon tinting the clear indicator part was a good choice, seems to tie in better with the gunmetal grey paint as it looks similar in colour

yeah my step dad and mate reckon the same.

have you got around to trying the purple paint?

do you have any old indicators to test it on?
or some clear plastic of some sort..

Yeah im in the middle of it now actually, did the side repeaters as a test, gonna be getting some clear ones off a Fairlane/LTD so might as well give it a go.. Also got a spare tail light that was cracked so tried it on that and it actually looks quite good, makes the red part look like a dark cherry red colour so it'll do for now just hope it doesnt fade cause it has a nice gloss 8-)

yeah i was thinking the same thing. ill mask up the clear part thought because i like where its at now..
or i might not lol.

only trouble is the light stuggles to get through atm..
ill check tonight at night and make my decision.

hey man, good work,

i actually bought the stuff to tint mine 2day,
my mate done his and he used clear over the top, i think thats what ill do too once i get the hang of using clear paint... i always manage to orange peel the stuff!

but yea, too much red on the back of mine, need to hide it

2 should be a nice shade.
