Thats not too bad mate, go to pick a part and see if you can see a new looking set of roters and pads.

Better still find a car with good roters on stub axles with good ball joints. Then get a bottle of break fluid for $7 and get the break fluid out of the master cylinder and top it up. The hand break can be adjusted by taking the rear wheels off and there will be an adjustment screw behind the hub on the cable.

Dude, the climate control conversion should be attempted if you have a spare Fairmont dash to piss about with. Try changing it's colours to suit at the same time

The other thing I am not sure you have is the high series BEM in the dash controls the Ford auto aerial, so find yourself a wrecked Fairmont, grab the aerial and spend an afternoon at Pick-A-Part or what have you with a few sockets, spanners and Phillips headed screw drivers and pull the dash out. Then you'll need a deep reach 10mm and 10mm spanner to take the five nuts off the back of the heater box in the engine bay side... Honestly, if you have a lazy Sunday doing nothing, you could do worse than to pull the entire dash and heater box out of a Fairmont just to see how it all works!

I did the blue LED dash thing over a year ago and I went all over the place with them. Means you can leave your door open without flattening the battery, that's for sure 8-)

Old mate BENZ (NZEA) bought some glass paint or dye or something from SPOTLIGHT in a red colour to convert all his to red, and it appears to be working nicely. LED's can be fidly to get right (especially on the digital climate control - trust me!)

yeah but he drives a 300c, so that speaks volumes. :D

worst car in the world. it looks vulgar as if drawn by an infant rap artist and it cant handle for poo. people get so wowed by the front they ignore the fact that they forgot to finish the back. did i mention they handle like poo?

i digress.

If you go any bigger than 18's it will look horrible when everyone can see your standard sized brakes. I LOL all the time at lancers with 19 inch slim spoke rims and 20 cent coin rotors.

For the sake of not looking stupid, unless you upgrade rotors to 330mm units, not a good idea to go any bigger than 18inch.
