and i wanna do a blue led dash mod and spray some interiour parts...they will get done when i know what i want and when i can be bothered :p.

any ideas for cheap cool mods will be appreciated as im not sure on which little things i can do that stand out..

Nice Futura man, looks tidy

Definately blue LED dash mod, it'll set off the interior brilliantly at night :D

Possibly change the climate control to Fairmont spec, looks a lot better in the interior over those 2 big switches

Paint the rocker cover to give the engine bay a bit of style

I would also change the intake snorkel to an EF/EL XR6/8 one. Not only is it larger but it looks a lot better than the smallish stock one

thanks KWIKXR :D, its only this tidy thanks to linc who looked after it so well!

is there much involved with the fairmont climate control change over? or just a simple plug and play kind of thing..

love the idea of the rocker cover might do a nice electric blue..

didnt know the xr6/xr8 had bigger snorkel..ill do that after my lsd :p.

Looks tidy mate, you have the mags I want on my lane  .

Why not put a BA XR intake on there?

Josh

[EDIT] That is a fairly big conversion though, you need a AU plenum and have to panel beat the left wheel arch to fit the airbox.

I went to put the EF/EL one into my AU which is the same as BA but no good. They have a different shape in the bend to get around the radiator hose. I didn't think there was any difference either till I had a crack at it.

Yeah you need the whole BA itake setup including the airbox and AU plenum chamber so you have the mounting points.

Oh and buy the way ash I never got a chance to get under the lane on the weekend.

You replace the whole thing the mouth, airbox, and pipe. But the wheel arch needs panel beating to fit the airbox but the mounting points are the same. you will also need a AU plenum chamber as it has mounting points for the intake pipe.

Cheers
