fellow ford moders, it has been a while i must admit. well to fill you in for the last 5 months i have been overseas in england playing cricket and traveling i got back last saturday. dad drove my fairmont while i was away. sadly the brock has deteriorated over the years and a couple of weeks before i got back my old man purchased an AU Fairmont series 2 tickford enhanced with a 5 litre v8 in it. very nice car and has changed my opinions on the AU's. well anyway the brock was either going to be scrapped ( which i would never let happen ) or sold and with the condition it is in no point selling it.
dads au has now made it four fords in the family with mums xr6, dads au and my ef and brock falcon.

being a 5 speed manual, no 32 out of the 100+ made and mechanically a1 and the interior just needing a tidy up being positives and the rust and poor paint on the outside and money i would have to spend to get it on the road the negatives. i have decieded to make it my project car for the next few years. i have a shed an everything ready for it to be stored in, and hopefully in the next few weeks il get more permanent work and be able to starts saving . as the pictures will show there is a bit of work that needs to be done but will all be worth it at the end of the day.

Looks like a good project base, but the rust in the wheel arch looks pretty severe!

I like the look of them, tough without being an over-the-top kit that looks ricey.

I reckon you should just go to your local wrecker and cut the arch and other bits you might need from a wreck that's in better nick. You'll pay crap loads to have it done by a panel shop.

must say hoggy that is one tidy eb wagon love the mayhems on it, the fairmont has always been good to me and does get a few looks, proberly because most of the general population of p-platers all drive vt-vz wagons really pisses me off. will be a good project the old brock can't wait to get it started.

i dont think it be able to do that lol... it'd have clear indicators, body coloured EF mirrors and door handles with in the week, then probably a EL dash in a few months lol... but good on you for keeping it original

Cheers Cam
