Yeah they do the exact same thing so i cant imagine them being made any different. Might as well say they are the same bloody thing...

Ya shall be fine the rollmaster

i wonder if i should turn my power band to the higher RPM or lower

I want power from idle to 4K in the down low as the early E series motors dont like to rev

Haha. Mines the opposite. Takes off at 3000 and will fly (well, pretty fast) to redline lol. Smooth power delivery below 3000 and then just takes off when it gets to 3000. It was an excellent motor hence the reason why im fixing it. Your best bet would just be to d**k around with the vernier until your happy where power comes on etc. bit of mucking about and eventually you will have it right.

that slit you mention, its just the gap between the sprockets, as they are a double row chain, not a single chain like the dohc

Ok cool

Now with a 1636 its uncalled for , for this adjustable cam gear as its just such a baby cam

But would dialing it in be a luxury to get it to where i want

I am under the influence you cant adjust where the power comes on by much only 300-500rpm at most am i right lol ?

a vernier gear can only help it along. Dial it in to EXACTLY where it has to be

I didn't on that. When I fitted the cam I didn't even know the verniers existed. lol. was like 4 years ago. But now, my SVO motor has one, and even the EA Ghia daily that's getting a 1636 will get a vernier gear.

well, on my SVO, with a regrind Wade. We had to advance it 2 degrees to actually get the lift to the correct spec

I had the same in WILDEB. But fitted it when it was auto. It's good for low down torque. But once I fitted the manual and 3.9 diff gears. It made it very easy to blaze tyres :D

Nice sound's awesome

I had a healthy AU that i had which had around 160k on the clock back when they where the bee's knees and it was stock as rock , even my mums BA XR6T did the same thing

thing is when i did burnouts in it as i bought tyres for it every week , it would sit at around 2.5k-3K rpm and once it hit limiter / higher it just was weak as piss spinning them up

even grass skiing on private ovals it would grab 2nd and 3rd and it was much better in the lower RPM range , is this torque ?

i believe the lifters are EB-AU the nason ones on Ebay so either way should fit haha

Regarding the EA piping , I want to turbo this thing in 2-3 years when my younger brother gets his fulls as he will be driving it not me , and i was thinking in my mind a stainless steep pipe from TB to airbox would look cool with silicone joiners but no gain could do that but that be like $150+
