Hi There,
I am new to this forum so thought I would introduce myself. "DamsEL" here, with my 1997 EL Falcon Sedan. Pretty much stock in the engine bay, and the only mods I have been able to do are cosmetic. Before: Winders to Front Power Regulators with non-factory switches Rear Courtesy Light, Clock and Head Unit. 6" Kicker Splits with Crossovers (Amp and Sub to install) Exterior Door Handle LED's Lowered (SL's and SSL's) Ford 16' Rims with 16x7 225/50 R16 Supercats After: Thanks for watching Cheers Damsel |

Welcome!
The EL looks good as is! Do a search and you'll get a good idea of what other mods you're capable of performing! Best of luck

Todays efforts.
Cleaned Throttle Body and everything associated with it. New "Eagle" 9mm Performance Leads. Reset TPS Checked all Vacuum Hoses Cleaned and Detailed Engine Bay. Still need to paint the Rocker Cover (black), and Serge Tank Cap to bring in a bit more yellow. |

EL's are a good start .
Yellow is definitely different to the usual red and blue. How do you find your aftermarket electric switches?

For another simple add on mod.
See if you can get hold of an intake pipe from an XR6. The one that goes from the top of the radiator to the air box. Tickford ones have the T wings embossed on the top, that's the one I have, im not too sure what exact other models had it too. Maybe XR8s too.. If you can get one it is heaps larger than the standard one. Allowing more flow without altering the intake setup from the factory look. Looks good otherwise tho. I love the XR 16s.. Probably the best factory wheel design Ford made.

Only au xr8 got the intake snorkel with tickford wings, el xrs got the bigger snorkel but looks the same as the smaller one, maybe el gt's got them aswell Good start anyway mate neat and tidy |

Thanks I will do some research. I was told not to increase the intake till after the exhaust was done. Is this true?? |
