This is a story about a boy and His AU series one S.

I got my P's in september this year and new laws plus restrictions on insurance are preventing me from doing any engine work as yet but i do have a pod filter ;)

Tomorrow i will take out my floor mats and steering wheel cover to take some pics of the 'before' stage then will slowly build up my interior first.

eventualy I will start to work on exterior but due to lack of care through previous owners i have a small amount of rust starting to appear on the top of one or my doors and worn down rubber not to mention lots of paint stone chips and rust leading to be break of oneof my boot struts.... -.-

Not to mention that a month and a bit ago some d**k ran a trolley into the side of m car whiles i was in the shops and left a nasty scar on the side ugh damn people!

I will take care of all that eventualy but for now i want my interior to be done :)

I will post 'before' pics tomorrow around mid dayish.

All opinions welcome and if u dont like my ideas or how it looks feel free to say so because everyone has the right to thier own opinions and thats fair enough.
Also any helpful comments will be welcome and taken aboard as well.

To all future Readers and posters Thank you for your time you took to read this thread :)

cheers Happydude

i have a series 3 so the sc controls could be a bit different but for the dash spear there are three nuts holding it on... i got to one by removing a plastic bit of the dash that you can only see when the doors open (above the airvents on the left) and i could reach the other 2 after i removed the ac surrounds

removing the ac surround... first remove the head unit and ashtray there are 2 screws behind the ashtray and one going in diagonally each side of the head unit... then the rest is just clipped in... so just pull and unplug the looms etc...

cheers cam
