Alright, well the 65mm t/b got bolted up today along with the bored out EGR plate and new BBK gasket kit.
The TPS had to have some slight modifictions carried out on it to get it to fit. Basically just had to open the holes up towards the outer edge as the hole centres are abit wider on the on the AU t/b, then just elongated them to the sides to allow to get the correct voltage (.98v @ idle).

So tomorrow morning she goes on the tilt tray to go off to the exhaust shop. Should hopefully get it back Monday arvo. Will post up pics when i get it back.

Well i picked up the ute from Prestige Exhausts this arvo and am more than happy with the quality of the pipework Dom carried out on it, i reccomend him to anyone looking for a top quality exhaust system.
Unfortunately i didnt take any pics while it was up on his hoist, so i'll get some as soon as its high enough off the ground to take some decent ones.

But overall i'm stoked about the system so far, obviously havent had chance to hear it under load or anything but im positive its gonna sound nice, not too loud on idle but still has an awesome note.

Yeah mate, two more sleeps haha.

No point getting frustrated with having to wait. Good things can take time, and theres no point rushing them else sometimes they dont turn out the way you want them to.

Good to hear that the system got finished and you're happy with it, especially the note! ;)

I love the sound of the Aerochamber mufflers, words can't describe it. :D

Well guys i just got home after spending all day at BPT Motorsport along side Terry carrying out the tune i am more than happy with the results.
The car feels VERY strong on the road and just pulls like a freight train, the idle is actually quite smooth, no lumping or loping up and down.
Only drama we had we had was the rev limiter stuck on 5000rpm, its started to curve over at that point, but ifyou have a look it would have got about another 2-5hp out of it, maybe more.
I still have a few things to upgrade in the air intake assembly like snorkle, box and intake pipe etc which could give me a few more HP, honestly i think the elusive 300 isnt too far away.

Looking good, it will rpm higher than that, but on a standard bottom end you wouldn't want to push it too far. ;)

Nice torque figures there as well. :D

Yeah i think she could comfortably go to at least 5800rpm and still make power, if you have a close look its still rising and looks as if it might get another 5-10hp. Will have to look into it and see if we can get it sorted. Strange thing is tonight on the road she more than happily revved to 5500 and felt strong all the way there.

The exhaust note is awesome, no drone at all, crystal clear note all through the rev range, very subtle idle and really opens up at full throttle but also very quiet at cruising which is what i wanted.

Will be looking at improving the intake side of things and fixing that exhaust leak from the headers too, thats all next on the list, then after that a decent brake upgrade.
