Will be good to see ya down there, but remember the next Monday session isnt till the 8th of October. I will more than likely be down there next Wednesday.

He tells the truth. To all in WA, make sure you know that the Mondays are only the second Monday of every month, not every second Monday.

Will be monday for sure , if rain holds off.

Far out, all you guys that seem to manage 2.0-2.2 60' times, I want to know the secret, no matter what I do the best I've gotten was a 2.39 on the way to a 13.5 pass. More boost = more wheelspin, less boost = bog down. I can't win either way.

Oh well, high stall and fresh rubber coming soon, hopefully that will get me a 2.2 or so 60'

Hahaha. There is a fine line in my car between wheelspin & bogging down. Being a manual, it is a bit easier to get it on that spot on point though. :D

Your ET is a tad quicker than we are getting though, isn't it?

I have a set of MT Street ET's in 235/60/15 and they dropped my 60 ft from 2.7 to 1.89 for the Auto NOS 5.0
They were about 220 each from memory. Plus 30 fitting.
Definitely worth the effor.
As you can tell, for mine it just smoked the hides in street trim using 255/40/17's with 22PSI in them
Congrats and well done
Brett

Have you got another set of rims Jeff? Some 15s or 16s? If you get hooked on this racing bug then some decent tyres are a must... MT do a 235/60 and Hoosier a 225/50 R16, so you've got some options. ;)

Yeah mate, i have a set of EL FTR's (16's), i aslo have steel pursuit rims, EB fairmonts, EA Spac etc (15's). Do you think 15's would be any better than 16's. As far as the 15's go i'd just have to find out which ones are lighter i spose.
I think i'll be pretty hooked on the racing bug so i definately think its something to consider, let me know some prices if ya could mate, then i can save some pennies and get a set.
Also any idea which rims you would advise on running?

I'd imagine the FTR's would be lighter, plus they're 7" wide as opposed to 6" on the steelies, not sure if there's as much selection with slicks for 16" rims though.
