t2te50 - maybe you should go start your own thread about your build/s so we can keep this thread for XH5LWEPN's progress...

Cheers Scaffy, back on topic now.

The AEM has done its job well, while driving it on saturday i noticed under WOT conditions its getting as rich as 11:1 and even dropped into the 10's. So i think the re-tune cant come soon enough, i have had some more interest in the twEECer so hopefully i can get it all ready to go see Simon at Xtreme and get this baby re-tuned and better than ever.

Also had the ute ver a weigh bridge on Saturday and with subtracting mine and my passengers weight it weighed in at around 1550kg's, seems abit lighter than i expected though, that was also with only 1/4 of a tank of fuel.

So stay tuned as she's going to be moving forward fairly soon with abit of luck................................

Where'd you weigh it mate? I've been wanting to throw mine on the scales but have no idea where I can get it done. Does it cost much?

I'm look forward to seeing how you go with the new tune. It'd be nice to see them squeeze an extra 15 ponies out of it!

At the tip mate, Tamala Park in Kinross, had a heap of cardboard etc from our new bedroom suite to dump, perfect excuse to use the ute and weigh it.

Yeah would love to see another 15hp get out of it, i reckon it would have been there anyway with the mods i had done since that tune.

Heres a couple more videos guys. The first one is of a nasty launch with resulted in a 14.2@103.8mph and the second is a 13.8@103.9mph, this second vid was on my first ever night down there, was the 4th run of the night and the second 13sec pass i ever made. I raced this bloke twice that night and won both :D Had a chat to the bloke afterwards and he said he makes around 380rwhp with exhaust, extractors, cats, CAI, T/B, MAF pipe, cam and tune :? , must have been that lack of mid-range torque hehe. He rana 14.0@103mph on that run and was his best for the night.

Well guys i've been pretty quiet lately. Not much has happened engine wise, more attention has been payed elsewhere. My mates AU 220 recently had a "top-end" build done which took alot of my time over the last few months. Was all worthwhile though as it made some good numbers in the end with 303rwhp and should have more to come. Other than that i've had the front end of the ute resprayed, got a brand new bonnet and brand new front bumper so there was no messing around and now she looks sweet as.

So next on the go is a set of MSD leads thanks to Dave @ A1 (BOTTLEDUP), once there all done and on i'll hopefully be able to score a day off and get the ute ran back up on the dyno to see what she's making nowadays.

I have recently sold the 19's as pictured below to fund some cash towards a new gearbox. I'll be going for the TKO-600 5spd. Was tossing up between this and the T-56 but i dont like te ratios of the T-56 and the TKO has more power/torque handling. So hopefully in the next few months that will be fitted up in place of the poor old T5. Also between now and then i will have had the diff rebuilt. Going for 3.9 ratio and possibly a KAAZ LSD. Hopefully that'll help with traction and give me abit more get-up and go to drop those 60ft times.

Anyway heres a pic of the ute not long after i got it back from the panelbeaters. Go Australia Day!!!

The front end looks sweet as now mate! A vast improvement over the last time I saw it.

That's a decent result out of the AU as well. Will he be running it down the strip any time soon?

The KAAZ diff would make all the difference mated to the tko. Will you be hoping to crack the 12s once it's all done?

Cheers mate, it really does look heaps better now. Really good example of how tuff the EL XR fronts are  .

Yeah the AU is going really well and put out some decent numbers. Hopefully going to be hitting the 'Plex in the next few weeks once he gets his new rims and tyres.

Yep really looking forward to the TKO box, the KAAZ would be great too but havent confirmed 100% that i'll be going with one yet, but i would like to. If i dont it'll jusr be a new LSD centre shimmed nice and tight with new 3.9 gears.
Once thats all in i definately wont be looking for 12's. Something like a 13.2 would be nice on MT's. If i wanted a 12 i'd put a C4 in it  , but i've decided it has to stay manual.
