Well guys, sorry about the delay. All i can say though is im over the moon!!! She's cracked that elusive 300rwhp and done it very well.

The first run saw 318rwhp as we hit the speed limiter in 4th @ 5250rpm. This was with AFR's hitting 13:1 at peak with fuel pressure @ 32psi (vac connected).
We then bumped fuel pressure up to 40psi with vacuum and ran again. This made 315rwhp with AFR's going as rich as 12.0:1 at peak.
So we tried setting fuel pressure @ 38psi with vacuum which gave us 317.7rwhp with AFR's just over 12.5:1.

The speed limiter was quite annoying as the power curve hadnt rolled over yet, it still had a slight climb to it. So we done a run in 3rd gear which gave us peak power @ 5600rpm. So we matched the rest of the curve from 5250-5600rpm to the 317rwhp run which indicates approximately 325rwhp @ 5600rpm. So hopefully one day i can set-up the tailshaft, maybe when the TKO goes in, so that i can run past 180km/h (on the dyno of course) and get a more accurate reading on paper.

All in all though i am VERY happy with the outcome. I think its a very stout performance from the little 5.0. People bag the E-303 as being a *^%# cam but i reccomend people try it mated with the right parts coz IMO its a real ball tearer.

Cheers Fellas.

Heres the dyno sheet from the run in 3rd gear. Note the peak power at approx 5600rpm.

How are you going with traction on your launches? being a leaf sprung ute with nice power. Do you run street tyres or have you tried slicks?
Definitely a job well done. Or is there more? Look forward to seeing it one day.

Pretty difficult at the strip. As you could imagine launching on the street is rediculous.
I have only run street tyres on my 18" wheels at the strip and will have to continue to do so untill i can afford some drag radials, either MT's or the new Hoosier ones.

Next on the list is to probably look at ignition side of things as far as the engine goes. But next on the list is a TKO box and KAAZ LSD with 3.9's.

Crane Hi-6, PS92 coil (goes straight in the stock bracket, looks no different ;)).
Theres your ignition upgrade right there, highly recommended.

Sweet. Can you set a rev limiter with that set-up?
Any idea of cost?

You can get the HI-6DS which has a dual stage limiter, the standard HI-6 does a "stage limit", basically hook it up to a clutch switch so you can limit it on the clutch for more consistent launches.

NFI on cost, I got mine second hand of ebay, like 400 IIRC.
Coil was 140 from memory repco got it in for me. rocket quoted a bit cheaper, 120 off the top of my head, it was ages ago but so I might be waaaay off the mark LOL
Fire Rocket an E-Mail with a part number (or is there a WA performance joint that is good?), you might be surprised they are pretty good on price.

Tahts link to crane site.
Dig up the install instructions too, they are seriously piss easy to whack in.
Try find a spot in the engine bay if you get one though, I put mine in glovebox and its noisy as F**k.
You can live with it, but it's fairly audible, mostly when its multi sparking under 3k or whatever it is.

Sweet cheers mate. I'll most likely go with the 6000-6301 kit, thats the HI-6S Digital multi-spark one.

I'll be getting it through Dave @ A1HiPerformance over here in W.A, so i'll have a cht about it with him soon. May also look at the MSD gear.
