Can't say I'm a huge fan of the Racer myself, but they are cheap! Especially for an 18". They have the looks but wet weather grip wasn't the best.

I've got a pair of Sumitomo ZIIIs arriving today for the TE, they've had a lot of excellent reviews in all respects, dry/wet braking, handling response & noise. I'll keep you posted!

BTW PM me if you want more of the Racer's let me know... I have a contact. :D

Like Jeff said, Ive had em on the ute for the last 18 months and they've been pretty good, sure they not perelli dragons or Yoko's but Ive no issue with them until now, Rear end is looking a little low on tread. As far as in the wet goes, they are a hell of alot better than the dunlops that were on when I bought the Ute.

G'day Mate.
Sounds tuff, pretty much 100% exactly the same as my mates AU 220 we done.
Click on the link below and start a thread of your own just for your car, i'd be interested to see and hear abit more about it.

Not much has been happeningto the ute lately. TKO600 is getting closer, should have it here inside 2 months, then i just got to source the bits to get it in.
Looks like i'll be hitting the strip with the T5 again for a while, see how she holds up with the Hoosier DOT's on the back.
Got rid of the AU centre console in exchange for a factory XH one again. Dont drive the ute enough, especially with a drink, to warrant the need of th AU console with cup holders, so i decided to return it to factory looks just with the addition of an EB GT gear boot i had lying around. AEM AFR guage still fitted nicely with the original console back in.
Also finally got myself a PWR alloy header tank so i fitted that in today. Tidy's the look under the bonnet up alot, the engine bay has been screaming for one for a long time now.
Bought some polished billet aluminium u/drive pulleys. Unfortunately they arent a direct bolt on job so they are in the hands of a good mate of mine to get modified during the week, no major mods required. He'll also be making me up two billet alloy idlers aswell.
Heres a few pics of the two new mods to date, will keep updated as things change.

Cheers,
Jeff

Cheers Carl.
AU console got swapped to my mate with his XH XR6 in exchange for his one. I sold my original one to Tocchi not long after i got the AU one so i needed a replacement.

$258+postage direct from PWR. Dont mess around with local sellers go straight to PWR.

Yeah will be looking that way. Might go down on street tyres first and see if she's still got it in her. If she's running 13.3's again then yep i'll be looking for 12's ;)
