hey guys im a new member here my names andrew im 14 and this is my 1978 xc fairmont i picked up 470 tagged an org 302 it had no moter or box but it was still worth it even with the rust i love the x series falcons.

looks like you got a couple of years before you get your licence to get it looking smick.

looking like a good start... did you remove the vinyl roof? i recon that would be pretty scary removing it... you'd have no idea of the damage until you remove it...

so whats the plans? leaving the fairmont front... going whole respray i guess... love the 12 slotters with the blod white writing...

Has potential.. to be a money pit!

They look good when done up, but being minus a drivetrain with some serious rust... its not gunna be cheap!

hey guys yes i know its not going to be cheap it will get a full respray and will be a good project

also that rust isnt serious complerd to alot of cars

thanks mate thats y i got it dad will be chiping in and helping me along the way all it will be geting is a 250 iron head an c4 auto it will be reprayed leaveing the fairmont front and all crome back to its org clour as not meany are left in GOLD RUSH it also will be geting gxl dash parts gs bonnet with i have most of the gxl and gs bonnet stuff anyways 12 slotters arent as good as they look lol there pretty ----y but ill get some beter ones
