Hey Huggie, well done mate.

Looks like we both were into stripping red heads (Red EBs) today, only opposite components. LOL

well i thought id kick this thread in the bum and bump it back up there, not much has been changed, i replaced the headgasket, when i pulled it apart i found out the last person had 10000000% no idea what they were doing, bolts wernt tights, the head wasnt even tensioned down, and they didnt clean the head or block down before installing the new headgasket... they pulled the injectors apart and then tried to stuff them back in destroying the end caps in the process, exhaust manifold was loose.. no wonder the thing ran like a pig. so i replced it all and it still ran like a dog, so i replced the sparkplugs, then the dizzy cap and rotor button along with the leads, i also cleaned the ICS and O2 sensors.

funny thing is it ran with a miss and we couldnt work out why... then the next morning i went out to move it and the bloody thing ran like a dream, no more hesatation... im confused lol.

so now here is a list that needs to be done for RWC,
swap tyres with the fairlane (they are still ok but might not pass RWC) then swap back after RWC is recieved.
install new wiper blades/arms
fix the sloppy selector (issus is at the gearbox not the selector itself - no idea how to fix it)

i would have rego on it this week but i have some bills i need to pay first.
