cheers. yeah its getting done slowly. atleast this one is getting finished...
i got p****d off with the ebay guy and went a bought new ball joints. they are getting fitted monday, steering rack and oil pressure sender unit leak getting fixed tomorrow then find a steering wheel and get RWC at the end of the week (fingers crossed) |

sounds good huggie. hopefully you'll be driving around in the 'lane soon. as for me... i just fukin scratched a chunk out of my mags and tyres on a corner trying to avoid some C*** who went into my lane.

ouch. yeah i have seen a bit of that letely... im driving a mazda 323 sedan, 3 speed auto.. its gutless when its cold.
will be soo nice to drive something with power again |

haha its worse when cold... pull out of the driveway and a 4x4 came round the corner and it done 10kph foot to the floor in 1st right up the street and around the corner before it started making more power...

AU's and BA's i have been told are heavier. the lane only has an extra 100 kg or so. so add subs etc to a falcon and its about even

Hey huggie,
Any extra progress in the past week or so? I managed to bend my clutch fork so my eb is off the road till i get time to rip the gearbox out

got the steering rack in. just need to get the ball joints fitted on tuesday as im away on holidays for the weekend.
na havnt got the dvd player in yet. im not sure on how im going to do it |

hha well alot has and hasnt happened since my last post... swapped a digital camera for a 323 sedan with rego (currently for sale) off my brother so i have been drving that around and the fairlane had the amps removed (4 channel is stuffed, mono is in the 323) and the rear speakers were removed for a few days till i got new ones in the 323. but this week/next week it all goes back in and the ball joints are finally getting done after getting stuffed around and ripped off by my mechanic. i found a new guy who is 50% cheaper then my "friend" mechanic.
the dvd player and screen got part way installed when i realised just now much work ill need to do putting the dvd player and screen in. then i moved out with my gf so the car sits at my parents house while i live 10k's away. so its a huge effort to get me down there to get it done but i can assure you its sooo close now. a few more weeks i got the steering wheel sorted finally, ended up getting one on ebay for 40 bucks delivered that night by courer. once its on the road i need to swap my tyres onto other 5 spoke rims i sold to a mate then brought back at half the price he paid for them 
so with my next pay im getting ball joints fitted, wheel alignment and RWC. then pay after theat rego. so its more like a christmas present for myself. then i can piss off this 323 for good. |
