well i done a little bit on it today, i scrubbed the door trims with some interior cleaner from work and they came up a treat... looks sooo clean lol. still need to do the carpets and seats. i also redone the boot to make it look a little neater and cleaned the sill panels. was a big job as it was full of mud... also removed the clips from the back window, touched up the bumpers from the scratches. a little bit more to do before the cleveland show in 2 weeks. also have to rebuild the ticky motor and put it in.

also does anyone have any hub adaptors i can borrow? i want to fit my brothers sprae 20's to it for the show

Hiya Huggie

The grill came up really nice. Top job.

Get some photos of it with the 20's on if you can.

Good job huggiebear. They deffinately handle better with the super lows in don't they. :D Recently lowered mine too and although the ride is a lot stiffer, the lane corners on rails now.

well good news... cracked open my ticky motor tonight and its almost like new... according to my mechanic mate "its the best motor i have seen" he said it still has the factory honed marks, origional head gasket, pistons are perfect.. so all i need is an AU metal head gasket and manifold gaskets.

the exhaust manifold is clean inside !!!!!111!!1!!!one!!!

so during the week we are packing it into the trailor and heading off to my mates place where she will go on the engine stand and get cleaned inside and out, repainted and all setup ready to go in the car.

im going to use my current engine mounts as they are 2 months old. im also going to use my inlet manifold and exhaust manifold as im hoping to take the car to the cleveland auto spectacular providing i can get hold of a set of rims to borrow to make it look good.

once the motor is in ill decide if ill put the T5 and BBM in or to leave it.

well its D Day... just picking up the last of the parts. got the aircon compressor yesterday, just have to get the following:
degreaser
2 BBM fuel lines
accelerator cable and pedel
sump gasket
oil
gearbox oil
and some hose clamps

last night we started cleaning the motor ready to go in. its alot cleaner then expected apart from a lil bit of water that made its way inside the opened valves at some point but no damage what so ever :) there was a small aount of water in the sump but that could have been from when we removed the head as thats how the cylinders got liquid in them. but i checked it all oit and its great. so tonight we pull the old motor out and clean the engine bay... then tomorrow we drop in the new motor, connect up the BBM (due to the old manifold hitting on the serpentine belt)

also painted the block matt black to hide the rusty look of the block.
