WOOT finally a decent update... well first up i replaced the front shocks, while i was at it i cut open 2 fingers... also found out that EL's use a shorter bolt to hold the shocks in place and also the swaybar bushes are different sizeing so they couldnt be swapped.
its dropped the front another inch and looks perfect height now second update is new exhaust tips, 2.5" to twin 3" and what a difference in sound.... as with every twin tip i have seen it has the whissle but now on cruise it seriously sounds like an 8. i didnt have any plans to buy these but seeing as tho supercheap had them on sale and there was only 2 of these tips which my mate bought the other one i couldnt resist. coming also somethime in the next 2 weeks (fingers crossed) is a new lukey muffler to give it a better louder sound. the tips sit a bit too far out for what i was hoping but due to the dodgy bruce meclains exhaust work its as far back as we could get them. and the ugly outness... but you cant really see it so im not fussed |

daytime pics of exhaust as some people have asked me to get some.
and the post lady was good to me today 2 packages. one is my power window switch which i fitted up quick smart... and then spent 5 minutes watching my rear windows actually working... 2nd one was my LTD grill feels like it took forever to arrive... i also painted up the c-pillars and 1 quick coat on the b-pillars. satin black. i only done 1 coat on the on the b-pillars as the tape i was using was s**t. so ill sort it out in a couple of days |

Nice work as always huggie. I like the chevoi hotwires on the front and the chrome LTD grille certainly makes a big difference to the look of the lanes. I'm loving the chrome bling mate! Can never have enough chrome I thought you had finished painting your pillars. Game on b**ch! but i'm doing mine in gloss black except for the rear quarter window trims which I have done in satin. Will probably end up doing the side mirror mounts trim in satin as well.

ROFLMAO! I was just showing the missus your lane and how similar the mods have been to what I have been doing also, when I noticed the red tubular bunks in one of your pics. The funny thing is we were just discussing moving them from one of the kids rooms to another, and then I see a set of the exact same bunks in your pics

yeah much like that. tho it already sounds like an 8 when you cruise off (go my mate to take it for a drive - only one i trust to drive it) and i couldnt believe how 8 like it sounded... but when you plant it you know its a 6 lol. i love the burble it has now.
with the new muffler you will know its a 6 all the time but will be louder and tougher. i got a few vids of the echaust. 2 on idle and one rev. ill post them up tonight after i convert them also im awaiting mick to let me know on some postage on some capa leather seats and trims to put in the lane. so if all goes well ill have leather |

G'day Huggie, I have paid for the seats today, once the seller has confirmed receipt of payment he is going to forward the truckies contact details. Once I have his number I will give him a call and see if he is keen to take a load back and make a bit of extra $$. As soon as I know more, I will let you know. Better arrange purchase of seats from Jastel, I can't see why he wouldn't take the seats back with him.
