How's the airbox spot look with the airbox installed?

I can't believe how much space there is just behind the bumper for a fmic!

Cheers

What's the thoughts on keeping spark plug leads as short as possible these days? Doesn't matter with coil pack as much as with a single coil?

Cheers

well if i mount the coil packs up where the washer bottle normally is, then i wont have to change the leads as its about the same distance across as it is down and through the manifold. so i can use the factory EF leads still.

but i guess you wont want to go too much longer in length otherwise you could get issues.

Keeping the leads factory length would be a good thing for spares availability down the track too. So put the coil pack up there.

Cheers

im going to get a piece of aluminum and make a panel to screw into there using the washer bottle screws and all pieces like that will be painted satin black. hopefully in the end it will have a stealth and polished look about everything

Sounds like a good idea to me, can't wait to see the results.

got bored today before work, and decided i wanted to wash the car, but there was no point washing it without the front panels, so i took half a hour and put it all back together for the sole purpose of washing it lol. but its made me happier seeing the wheels on and the panels complete.

im now not happy with the height of the car, needs to be dropped another inch. so fairlane ultralows will go in the front and falcon superlows in the rear (confusing but it will make it sit 1/2 to 1 inch lower then it is now evenly)

i also have the door looms put in the front doors and connected up.

car complete but dirty

i have also decided to keep the factory mirrors, as i installed the EL one on the driver side and stood back and i think the EL mirrors look hideous lol so im keeping the NC mirrors, and i also get better viability from them.

more updates shortly as i do more work. turbo kit should be here end of next week if not early the week after

Looks real good complete & washed dude! I must say tho, I'm a little biased on the color, my EB Ghia is the same color.

I might give mine a wash before i take it out tomorrow.

Cheers

I felt like an a*** because you have been following my thread and i have never touched your's.

But i have been through start to finish and fu ck me! lol you have way had you up's and downs.

The turbo sounds great! ill have to wait till november this year before im on opens, but that gives me plenty of time t plan and save money!!! It will be tight thou i may be making my first major investment and buying some land.

Dad had cabs longer then ive been born and his got some mates in the auto electrics so his asked one to do a house call!!! looking up for me ill go to work one day come back and she will be running:)

Regards.

Most builds have more downs than ups, but if you keep at them, you end up with the car you wanted in the end. Frustrating as it may be, you just have to keep at it. :D

Cheers
