its all futura, to be honest i hated the digital crap... first thing in the morning the last thing i want to be doing in the middle of winter with frozen fingers is pressing a button a million times to change the temp...

a simple twist of a dial suits me better, and its easy to change later on if i wish. i also picked up a trip computer on ebay, so ill wire that in one day when i can be stuffed

With my climate control, all i do is press the temp button & hold it, then it starts to climb towards the max temp. Simple really. I prefer the climate control, set to temp you want, set to auto & let it do it's job.

I'm going to convert my Xr8 to climate control one day, as well as power windows, power antenna, dimable dash lights, and a few other fairmont ghia bits n pieces too.

Cheers

ToranaGuy

dimable dash lights are easy, just swap the headlight switch over with one with a green plug not the low series white one and your done. i have done it to all my cars i have had. i think i have a few laying about still

there will be 3 runs siliconed to the lens itself leaving about 4-5 inches of space behind it

Automatic climate control means that you don't have to touch anything. You set it and forget it without having to change the settings all the time to adjust for comfort etc.

That is probably because people don't know how to use it properly. Set it to 22* and it will warm up a cold interior after the motor warms up and cool down a hot interior in the sunshine. Fan, vent selection, air con and blend door, all automatic. If you like playing with rotary dials and knobs, no problems there either.

Thats it isnt it - I wouldnt swap CC for anything.

No needing to turn the fan off - just wait for warm engine and then the fan creeps on.

Only thing I ever needed to do was up the temp a degree or 2 on really, really long trips

lol harsh.. i might upgrade it one day, but all i wanted to do was get it all working with the items i had at the time, then laser on fiddle around with things if i feel it needs upgrading. i was almost tempted to remove the aircon/heater system all together... but decided against it lol
