Nice update dude! What's this anti lag in the ecu? Is it a "fast idle" or just a "dump a lot of fuel in to get the turbo spoolin" function?

Cheers

anti lag is what rally cars use. basically 1 spark every 1 or 2 rotations will be delayed until the exhaust port is open, then it fires making the exhaust manifold pressurized keeping the turbo on full spool...

i was told to hook it up to a button so if i wanna race like that i hold the button in and have full boost by the time im ready to go...

but depending on how much lag i get with the stalled auto and long piping will depend if i go that way or not

As long as it's polished dogs balls & performs well, i don't think most of fordmods would mind!

Interesting about the spark timed when the exhaust port is open!

Cheers

Just polish up the BBM manifold, and remove the butterflys.

Just enjoy as is for now Huggie. Watch peoples reactions as you boost past them. Cops shouldnt give you a second look either. Sometimes its better to be inconspicuous. When finances are more plentiful, go ahead with the bling.

yeah thats what i was sort of thinking. im not going to make my dead line so i have decided to just take it slower and do it all right.

ill be changing the head gasket with a metal AU one (or 2) buy/make the 3" exhaust and high flow cat etc. no point getting it tuned how it is then upgrading a few bits in a month or so down the track and having to tune it again

it will be too long for the XF.. thats for sure. im not sure how it goes over the diff as i think the XF is more boxed under there then the e-series.

yea thats a good idea, i had mine tuned a few times because i kept changing things the would effect the tune... it cost me $350 each time it was tuned so best to try do it once.. :)
