well i got the thermos in and all setup off a neat relay setup all works well just awaiting the davis craig thermo switch (getting sent monday)

the new front splits got picked up today :D and the new amp should arrive by post tomorrow with any luck... the splits go in tomorrow and a new boot install is very close. i got the design done

and the boot install.. not the final product but the the one im working off.

2 monoblock, 1 4channel 2 distro block 0g into 4 lots of 4g behind perspex

well after the first hickup of drilling the tweeter hole in the wrong section i replaced the map holders and redrilled... perfect :D

i also got some stickers from my gf's parents. and a new look will be coming soon. (but thats a secret)

lol @ superlows in the front on the NA. Did your mate weld some extra coils on. You should pull those rear louvre things off ya windscreen.

well when he bought the spings he didnt know of anyone else with them and on falcons you go one lower in the rear to make it level... not the same in fairlane lol.

ill definately be going superlows all round. this is simply too low. looks good but highly illegal

mmmm new look engine bay...

as you know the headgasket went on it, so i removed the head and dropped it off on briday to get welded and shaved 10 thou so it should come back all shiney and clean. i have a VRS kit and new headbolts on their way which should arrive tue or wednesday.

this is what the head looked like.. bloody great condition for 340 000k's. id say she has been rebuilt ;)

you seem to have bad luck with head gasket problems there huggiebear.

didnt both your ea,s end up with blown head gaskets???

haha yeah. 3rd falcon in 6 months... i dont drive them hard... well i havnt driven this one apart from home in pouring rain and in a fairlane with a LSD and heavy a*** you dont plant your foot in the rain or you will end up going towards a tree, the other time was getting the exhaust done.

so i dont know why they always pick me. altho i do know why this one went, the water jackets were corroded out and were touching the metal rings on the head gasket which is why its costing me an extra 55 bucks... but 121 bucks for 5 welds and a 10 thou shave isnt too bad

well i got the head back. it looks good. so just awaiting the arrival of the VRS kit in the next few days.


also on a better note... i picked up a T5 gearbox. complete setup with "cushioned ceramic button clutch" thats had 2 drag strip runs and a few laps of the street useage.
thats right people... ill be one of 5 or so?? manual fairlanes in australia
