A fittings mob like Pirtek should have a fitting to do the job you require for the water fitting. I need to give the Xr8's a wash real soon, and push my holdens out of the shed for a wipe down too. Too much dust settling on them atm...

Cheers

after 2 hours of driving around i finally have a solution.. it looks ugly but ill just hide it. it consists of 2 irrigation fittings. even speedflow had nothing unless i spend over $100 in a T piece and fittings..

so this one cost me 25 bucks so its not too bad... but ill get someone to machine me up something when i find someone with a metal lathe lol

ok small update. i got the car started altho it was only for 30 seconds it started which tells me all is good

this is where im currently taking the water feed from
Image

tho this is getting swapped out. to get this setup working correctly using speedflow T block and fittings it will cost well over $100. so i was looking at other ways of doing it. then i looked at an old EA-ED thermostat housing and noticed it has 3 sensors where as EF onwards only have 2.. so if i remove the sensor thats not needed there is my direct water feed.

my temporary water return T piece seems to be working well so i might end up just keeping it for now as no one seems to make a brass T piece to suit 10mm line it all seems to be plastic. cost in speedflow fittings $85, using air fittings from bunnings $13.70 WIN
Image

decided to ditch the ABS setup completely since the factory unit never worked i dont want to fit an EF unit and have the same issues. so once its removed ill be running the pipework straight down through the guard cutting about 1.5m from the overall length of the pipe work.
Image
Image

i just need a few more 3" bends and it should be all good to go.

i have my fuel pump in the mail should arrive monday. then i can finish setting up the surgetank. autobarn ran out of fittings so they have some on order for me, tho im considering using braided line in the boot aswell as the water feed for the turbo.
Image

my other ebay score was 8, -6 fittings (perfect for the surge tank, turbo water feed and return and a few other things i have my mind on) autobarn wanted $36 for 1 fittings, scored these originally from the UK for $46 posted.. thats about 7 for $10. so more ebay win!
Image

ECU wise for now ill just grab a J3 to get me going and on the road then later on if needed ill go a aftermarket ECU.

more updates after bathurst when i get some more fuel and see how it goes running.
