{USERNAME} wrote: Looks like a fair good body just that little bit off surface rust... I say again... There's no rust! Only the bit where the paint was rubbed off because of a rub with another car. Apart from that there is literally not a scerek of rust on it! {USERNAME} wrote: So when are u and sam gonna come on a cruize?? There is a ACF one this sunday We're always busy on weekends. We've got a wedding on Saturday and Engagement party on Sunday this weekend... He keeps an eye on the cruises... When one coincides with a free day we have then we'll get along to it! Look forward to seeing you around!

Surface rust is still rust - no one said it was fatal.
Also wouldnt worry about fitting a tickford kit first, I'd worry about fixing the paint before it spreads (unless you'll get it resprayed along with the kit upon fitment). |

Alfy answer my damn question yep pretty much. a mate of mine got a 1979 Sigma that was a complete paddock bomb for 5 years registered... full of rust, holes in exhaust etc... just went into Service SA and gave them the filled out rego papers, and voila!

Hand me downs??? She found this herself...... Here's some progress........ I patched up the dent today. It was only a 1 hour job so she could take it home and show her parents. We also rubbed back the rubber stripping and front bumper and gave it all a coat of paint. I also hit the wheels with some mag cleaner and tyre conditioner. Looks 100% better

But, I have to admit, we did find a little bit of rust in the very bottom of the drivers side sill... Oh well... easy fix. (says Sam... ) I only said I wouldnt mind getting a Tickford kit. Like I said, that would be well after we get the car's exterior back to original condition. Sam went and saw his panel beater today about it and was quoted $500 to have the front and rear bumpers and bonnet stripped and resprayed. So when I have some more money I'll get that done. As for now, I'm just happy to have a car with air conditioning and power steering The rest can come later...
