Looks really cool-so you've put a standard falcon front on a fairlane??
I like the combination, instead of having a fairlane front on falcon.
Nice work

Thanks man. Yeah a "falc-lane" or my favourite "Fair-Con"
the fairlane front looked longer after I lowered it, and after the accident in Alice springs, prices there to obtain original parts were rediculous ($300 PER headlight!! Plus a bonnet, bumper an a guard)
I'd had the idea for a while to swap so it was a good time.
I've seen 2 falcon wagons with a fairlane front and seen XF's with the LTD conversion. Haven't seen a sedan with a fairlane front though.....
I reckon it looks pretty good, I had the bloke who inspected it walk around it 3 times (thought he was jus inspecting) before lookin at me an asking "so it's a fairlane?"
I like the long look and short front, and as soon as I aquire the parts it'll have a bodykit and different bumper. Maybe a set of XR headlights if I can find that place with hens teeth an rocking horse poo.

On that note, anyone who may have or knows someone who may have some random bodykit pieces around that you/they may want to part with send me a message, I want to piece together a bastard kit of what I can find and put together. Something unique.
So front bumpers, side kits and rear bumpers, what ever fellas, who knows maybe that random 1 skirt you have or that pair of door corners on the top shelf covered in dust may be just what I need.

@ fezlane; mmm gt rims... Mmmm. I love both eb an el versions, I reckon they are sexy.
@ BionicXR6T; Hey mate good to see you here! Colour of the ar I standard "z" code stark white.

But it's wierd, certain angles and light and some panels look almost grey (you can see it I'm some of the pics too)
I'll be getting the body done eventually, I want to get the bodykit then do the panelwork I want then a respray.

THROW ME IDEAS ON A COLOUR FOR IT EVERY ONE!

Yeah it's definately gotta be dark. I used to own a vc commy that I think was Cobalt Blue, it looked deep purple from one angle and bark blue from the other (in the sunlight), that was a sweet colour.

That was half the idea with the falcon front too, a little confusion as you look from the front down the side and over the rear.

not black mate.....it make every single little body flaw, scratch, or fingerprint (kids)......
stick out like dogs.....well, you know.
years ago, I had a black GT Falcon......first and last black car I'll ever own.... :x
try a nice blue or a red or a even pink with purple spots....but not black ok.

Yeah i was gonna say too that black takes LOTS of body prep.
Il be doing all that anyway before I do spray of corse but there's a slim chance it will be black.
Maybe even go to a paint shop in adelaide on my next trip there an buy a custom colour paint.
Green?
Or the SVO white over charcoal? I like that actually it goes together well, you mite notice the silver grey front bumper on mine, it sorta suits the front as an idea for the overall job.

Looks good dude, i always wondered what a 'lane would look like with a Falcon front end. Would look mean with some XR lights and a body kit!

Thanks man, I'll check yours out in a minit.
As I was saying, I'm piecing together a kit. I'm thinking the XR lights but I'm looking at an alternative to a GT bar. Maybe the brock kit front bar...with the sprint lip?

ANYONE KNOW ANYONE WITH BODYKIT BITS SPARE SEND A MESSAGE!!!

I reckon the XR twin lights would look great on this thing, I also want to do it to my EB. I think there were some in the for sale thread not long ago. Have a look.
Thanks
