I've had a ceramic button in mine for 30000 km and the box is fine, mind you driving in traffic is a b**ch. I have looked at this option myself in the past but never managed to get an opinion from someone who has had one. Is it just an "on/off" type of thing? I've heared that they don't like to be slipped at all, is this correct? The amount of slip will depend on the composite material. Button clutches generally provide a friction point that is far smaller than that of a solid clutch plate.

My clutch does work better when it's been heated up but it's still a pain, I got it on the advise of a friend and I wish I hadn't. Doesn't really match my driving style and I think it slowed my 1/4 mile times because there is no slip and it frys the tyres off the line. Mine does have a cushioned center which helps a bit and after having it I'd never contemplate having a solid center and probly not another ceramic ever again.

They certainly will, might need to roll the guards a touch but. You can put 8.5s on the front as well.

Or be pretty much flush? I tried quickly measuring it up with a tape measure and thought it would be pretty tight...

8" on the front is easier but. With 8.5 you have to watch the tyre profile cause it gets real close to the top ball joint. What diameter are you looking at?

I was thinking only 17's or 18's nothing to big, id be happy with 8 wide on the front... i was just unsure about 10 on the back...

10s would look good but too much grip can be an enemy to the life span of a t5, and so can ceramic button clutches, my box is starting to whine substantially
