Cheers.
It will definitely be interesting thats for sure.
But I have to stress that putting the blower on wouldn't be possible at all without SWC's assistance.
Besides the fact that he supplied the chargers at an awesome price , even at this early stage he has been more then helpful with information , links to the best place to get parts from and is happy for me to keep hassling the s**t out of him during the time its all being screwed together.
While he is a grumpy C*** :lol: Paul is a great mate and a very pivotal part of the Fordmods community.
He is a guy that seriously doesn't get enough credit thrown his way.

I don't think he's too grumpy.
Does deserve more recognition, and respect from certain members...

What you doing for a manifold? ? An adapter plate would be easy to do....I should hurry up and buy a mill. .

Cheers

Indeed he does deserve more respect from some people. The bit about him being a grumpy C*** is a bit of a running joke between him and me.
Manifold will be a custom plenum on top of the existing Edelbrock lower. Want to look at doing it twin stacked so I can run a cooler on it as well.
Have looked into the laminova cores and they are a bit out of my price range for a bit with building the thing.
Hopefully soon I might be able to get myself a tig.

Yes Mr Goat I can see very well where you are headed with it and I remember the old twin light ute well.
I also have 2 blowers here.
As cool as it would be it won't be happening. I still need to make it easy to work on in the bush which a more complicated manifold and drive system would stop.
It will just be single blown and if the urge for more bites I will just make a new adaptor plate to suit a M112.

I haven't been anywhere near as busy as I would like to have been due to developing tendenitus in my shoulder and being very restricted to what I can do.
I have had help off Don and managed to get a few little things done.
Managed to slowly get a couple of coats of paint on to the chassis with my good arm.

Its coming up ok , would like to rub it back and put a third coat on once I have it all back on its wheels so I get a really nice finsh.

{DESCRIPTION}

This is just the basic gloss black LIC40 applied with a brush. Now it has good coverage I want to rub it back to smooth the few brush marks and runs out and do another coat with a foam roller. It is much more hassle then its worth to spray it. Too much s**t flying everywhere to get a decent finish on the small area a chassis is.

Don roped the front radius rods up to the engine crane for me so I managed to get a couple of coats of the custom mixed purple onto them. Once again it is the LIC40 and is just brushed on.

{DESCRIPTION}

They are coming up very nice. So glossy and the paint seems to be getting very strong as it cures further.

How much fun will it be trying to rub it back?

A mate and I painted my coupe in some sort of industrial high fill red oxide in the 90's, what a mistake, it was hard as f**k and that was on flat panels with a orbital :evil:

That is a good question Macca. I spose I shall find out soon enough.................

Ok well this needs a kick in the a*** to get it moving.
If I have a date to work too , things must be done by then not a case of when it happens it happens.
So a date has been set.

The body goes on SATURDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER!

Who is up for coming to the hallowed area Werro Mufflers laughingly calls a workshop to dodge a crazy Doberman , drink beer and fit a body?
Lunch will obviously be provided in the form of spit roasted lamb and beef cooked with true Western Suburbs class over a fire in the front yard by an alcohol fuelled fool.
Im pretty certain I will also be able to supply the required beer and ice to complete this project.
