Im still running the factory Maverick rails and sliders Bry.
I just made adaptors to fit the BA seats to them.
They have copping my fat a*** for about 3 years now and no issues as of yet.

Jeez thats lucky. Everyone I know has had them completely die or just play up. Actually i scored a good set for my patrol out of the 98000 km wreck I bought. But my spare set almost had to be pensioned off

Only got an hour on it this afternoon before the shoulder informed me I had done enough for the day.
That time but did lock in a few things and confirm a couple of ideas I had.

{DESCRIPTION}

The top of the blue square tube will be the height of the tub.
Where the earth clamp for the welder is fitted is the cross bar for the rear firewall. So that will be where the cab will finish. I have scored about 400mm behind the seats for soft storage , sub box ect.
The tub will come out at 1700mm long and 520mm deep. That will be very handy when going away!

Thanks mate.
The wall itself in the lower cargo area will be vertical.
The pillars and rear window recess will have the slight angle as per what the factory had on the rear of the wagons.

Honestly haven't thought that far ahead at the moment mate.
Will work it out once I get the trap door ect built and we can see how its going.
It will all come down to time and budget or the complete lack of both.
At least I can revisit later on if I so desire to change the floor around.

Yep we need to work harder on drinking more.
Everyone knows we love Chris.

I would love to be here bounding with updates but really there isn't any.
Im back on restricted duties at work with my shoulder and with heading to physio and needles etc work on the nugget just isn't happening.
The fact that I am somewhat annoyed over some stuff that's happened over the past couple of weeks and coming into Christmas the $$ tree has shed its leaves somewhat quicker then thought has just slowed everything down.
When it happens it happens.
Starting to get to the point of not caring anymore.

Well I started getting pretty down about things but went and had a chat to SWC about some s**t and he has given me a new outlook on stuff.
Very much appreciate the time and chat mate.

Cant do much at the moment with the bum wing but managed to dummy up some heights today to get some answers with the blower install.

{DESCRIPTION}

{DESCRIPTION}

At the height the blower in the pictures there is just enough room to fit discharge and inlet piping into the manifold so I will be able to intercool it via a W2A. Best bit is it will only be about 60mm taller then the Performer RPMII I used to have fitted to it! Will fit under the stock bonnet very easily.
I will be making the manifold out of mild steel flat bar stock. Yes it sounds dodgy but there is a method to my madness.
I do not own a TIG and I want to do as much as possible by myself this build.
I do not want any polished aluminium under them bonnet. This vehicle will get used off road and I want it to be easy to keep clean and tidy. Polished alloy and mud do not mix.
If I do it myself in steel when the price difference between aluminium and steel plate is taken into account and then I pay for it to be welded and hope I got it all 100% right , I can put the steel manifold (once I get it 100% correct) in with my extractors and have it ceramic coated. That will only help with making it look good and keeping manifold heat down.

Still as rough as the dodgy end of a pineapple but each step is closer to driving the old girl again.
