Dont worry mate it will be out again. Wade does a pretty good Lord Humungas impression. He just needed the gimp mask to be complete.

Here it is after its first wash in about 6 months. 600 grit wet and dry does wonderous things to clean paint up!
It is getting pretty damn thin now but. Once the engineering is done the full body tidy up , changes and respray will commence. First job the old girl had to do was a run to the tip to clean up after herself. I didnt thionk it woul;d turn as many heads as it does. I still see it as my old s**t. Excuse the crap pics. They were done off an iPhone. The camera on them is s**t.

Cheers guys. The kind words are appreciated.
The old girl is still as rough as bags and will be sorted out once the engineering is done , but it is good to have her out and about. Yep thanks Ash , I did catch up with Brett and the restraints are much appreciated. Just working out where to put them. I know they have to be in the centre line of the seat , but dont know if to put them behind the seat (pain in the a*** once I do the rear box section) or put them in the wall above the back of the seat (easy job). Where are they mounted on the factory utes Ash?

Thanks Ash I will fit them tomorrow now.
I will fit them behind the seat so when they are used in anger they are fitted correctly. I will just have to get inventive when I build the rear box to get everything to come through correctly.........................

Caught up with the engineer this afternoon after work and told him what has been done and how I did it.
He doesnt see any reason why it shouldnt pass providing the welding and reinforcement is up to scratch.......... So the old girl is booked in to be inspected on Moday at 11. Fingers crossed all is fine. He is going to change the classification of the vehicle from passenger station wagon to full chassis goods carrying vehicle. Yes it will mean a couple of hundred more a year in rego but the GCM can then be increased , a stack of ADR's get thrown out the window and child restraint bolts are not required. They will be fitted but can be done then once the rear inside is finished. Full chassis commercial vehicle also changes the emmission requirements so forced induction at a later date shouldnt be an issue...... Got the weighbridge ticket done today so between now and Monday I will just tidy things up as I see them and go from there. I want to present the vehicle as best as it can be. Rego runs out on Monday at midnight so hopefully by the end of next week it SHOULD be enginneered , change of records and design check done , pink slipped and reregistered.............gunna be an expensive week!

Great to hear the updated news. Hope all goes well in the change of vehicle details.
The commercial rules are great when it comes to ADR's for exhaust emissions, for older vehicles they are pretty relaxed. My mighty boy being a ute is classed as a light commercial, and being under 850cc it doesn't have to meet any tailpipe emissions std's at all. So turbo = no problems. EFI conversion = no problems. The car has evap emissions gear that i will retain, and will also have EGR, and just because i care i will be fitting a cat converter too, not that i have to to get it engineered..... Cheers ToranaGuy
