SLO247 wrote: Did those moulds get there? You end up using them or went another way? Sorry mate meant to let you know I got them. Yep Im using them to sort it out. By cutting about 30mm off the flat end and redrilling the holes in the side of the tub they will fit and do the job very fine. Cheers.

Got home to a parcel today.
Have no idea how they will be but for $150 a pair delivered they are worth a try. So in the next few days the wreck will be getting BF front brakes. Am very interested to see how good the setup actually is. Either way I cant see it being possibly any worse then the scored , undersized rotors currently on it. Another package on its way and will hopefully get it tomorrow.

Looking very good! And the price was definitely right.

Your calipers look tidy.
Mine will be getting a coat of black caliper paint along with the discs. If it looks tidy it dont have to be blingy on this thing.

New brakes sorted out , guards rolled now its lowered and camber correction kits made and fitted.
Thought I was having a few wins and things were starting to work out. Then discovered while putting the drivers wheel back on that this week its the right upper balljoint thats f**k! So the ute has ended yet another weekend sitting on stands in the front yard awaiting to be repaired tomorrow. f**k s**t.

Then BAM
Donnas other car comes onto the scene. Matt, a big thanks for helping me get the TE50 back on the road. From getting on my back in the first place, finding the relevant paperwork to submit, the treks across Sydney to help with all sorts of bits, weather it be fitting panels, taking them to get paint, doing some welding or having lunch at the pub. Its great having mates like you and Don to push me to get s**t done. Thank you.

Cheers Mitch. I apologise for not introducing myself the othernight as well. I had just been running around and was pretty rooted. Also when everyone is chatting I find it hard to hear enough to focus on a conversation (should of worn ear muffs at work years ago). I appear to be a rude C*** but everyone that knows just yells at me or throws something at my head to get my attention.
Dave. Im just happy to see the car back on the road.Gotta keep the missus happy...........lol. In all honesty the car is too good a car to have just left by the way side. It was really no drama at all. Just ask yourself who was it when I was financially and mentally destroyed after the shafting I received with the ute that come and helped sort stuff out , supplied parts , turned spanners and helped make something out of a f**k situation when I was ready to burn it and slit my wrists? Its swings and roundabouts mate.

Like yourself, it was no drama and I am proud I actually got it back on the road, makes it that much more special for me as well. All 3 cars came up well. It was great hanging round and talking s**t as well.
