ED would definately benefit from it. f**k the Terrorist would benefit apart from the extra tank issue as we discussed. This is the kit Im running. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/190685478792 ... 1439.l2649 He does this one for 6's but. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LPG-Conversi ... 2c66d4cf49 But you also have the option of using the kit Ben and Ray have used on their cars. For the 6's there is a lot more choice then the V8. Then its just a couple of fittings to adapt the convertor to the original flex line. The best bit about the injection is besides the fact backfires are a thing of the past is you get equal to or better power then petrol , and it only uses around 10% more gas then petrol for distance travelled. Sam would benefit massively in the silver car seeing as though it has LPG already fitted. Once it is all in and running , if your not happy with how its behaving , its just a trip down to the Gong , hand over $130 and go off for some Maccas and come back to a perfectly running vehicle. I dont think it is something you can loose with. Will see what the future holds but if I get my way in the future the Ghia will be on it as well.

I am helping a mate fit the six version to his BA 4L.
Gear looks pretty good and works the same way my kit does. I will take you for spin in the wag Brett so you can compare the difference between petrol and LPG. Cheers BenJ

Ghia is all aligned and setup sweet now.
Had the exhaust changed around today and while it sounded ok before it sounds so much better now. Just about finished playing with it for a bit. Next job will be the extractors and cats and a few maintenance items. Then in the future a dirty big hole in the roof.

Got my set of 5.4" I beams on the weekend so will soon start to work out what other bits I need to procure over time.
In amoungst mowing lawns , taking the dog to the vet and all the other things that need to be done on a REC day I managed to get an hour or so on the new truck. Will just keep chugging along. The $250 vet bill today which has a chance of turning into a $1000+ one is going to slow things down a bit but oh well what can be done. Any progress no matter how small is one step closer to the finish line.

Well since I first did the conversion of the Mav into a twin cab ute there have been a few things that annoyed me about it. No actually make that p****d me right off.
As the build of the new body progresses you will see my solutions to these issues and how hopefully all the fixes I ahve for the problems flow into each other and it comes out a pretty good all round product. Problem 1. Since I did the chop the Waeco has had to sit in on the back seat because the well back ended up being too shallow to keep it in there covered. So with a bit of thinking I decided to make the 50mm body lift work for me. It is only the start of it but I am recessing a section of the floor down into the space left behind by the body lift. Then I will fit a couple of mounts to strap the fridge on to and I will have a nice little spot for the fridge to sit that is 40mm lower then standard , cannot slide around , easily accessible and secure. Once I set up camp I will be able to quickly whip the fridge out , hook it up to the camper and secure it and then use the ute for gathering firewood etc. The rest of the solution for the height issues and security will follow on further in the build.

Looks interesting Matt, I see your Hi-6 box came with weather plugs attached to it.... mine never did, I don't know why.
I like the sound of the fridge in the back! |

Yeah the Hi6 kit I got is the same as the one TerroristGHIA grabbed. Its a direct plug and play setup. Seems to work pretty well actually. Fridge in the back will be good. It is only a small part of the big picture but. It should start coming together over the following weeks.
