Has definitly become an awesome bit of kit, compared to the original tray back you first rocked up in it is worlds apart.
A testament to your skills mate. A very unique vehicle, whilst the inspiration is pure '80s!!

Yep Climate control is good.
Yep they had the ajar sensors. They actually work off the standard AU lock mechs which turn the interior light on.
The cluster shows both front doors open when they are.
Next electrical project will be fitting in and hooking up the electric release for the fuel filler and ajar sensor , then I will be looking at fitting a central locking unit to the hardcover once it is on , that I can release off the boot button with ajar sensor.
So that will then involve a couple of new 4 button remotes.

Should be able to use the remote keyfob boot button for the hardtop release ??
I suppose you have a few options for the solenoid setup - AU sedan, AU wagon tailgate, etc.

In the XH, the rear door lines have 180 ohm resistors to earth to keep the 'flaps' closed. I used the rear ABS sensor wires for remote fuel flap release and ajar - didn't know about them until after I fitted ABS. I suppose at least you already have the fuel flap, the XH filler area is pretty shallow the fit a flap into.

Cheers guys. Yeah they do suit it well. I liked the old rims as well but I love the dish.
Will be interesting in the future when I need new tyres. Will try and stick a 275 or 285 under the rear. I was concerned they wouldnt fit with it being low when I load it up but I think there is more room with these then the old 19's. A wider tyre will fit with a bit of trimming of the rear inner plastic splash guard.

Yeah we were having a little chuckle.
You knew my wheels were for sale.
You were standing there last night when me and Troy did the deal.
But in all fairness you were very dusty when I saw you today!
