Matt, my 18 x 9s had a 265 tire on them when I got them, and the side wall was pretty much vertical.
IMO a 275 would be easy fitment on the rim and as you say, guard clearance would be the only issue. Cheers BenJ

I wonder if it now has a hardlid fitted?

Random picture from when I decided the ute looked good when I was up getting some milk last night.
Whats going on here? Its not the greatest hardlid around and needs a couple of tidy ups , but for $250 instead of $1200 Im not complaining. I reckon the Fairute is now pretty much finished!

I think it will only be the slightest bit of the rear inner guard that would be an issue. Cutting it away will work.

I was wondering what the go was with that message about the lid.... Nice buy, is it getting painted the same colour at the Fairute? If it does I reckon one of these would look nice

Lid is staying black.
It might get a new coat of black 2 pack in the future when I have a couple of touch ups done. Nope no wing. Im no longer even fitting the bodykit. It looks classy now as it is. Anything more will be overdoing it. The only thing I still need to do is remove the old tonneau cotton reels and fit the blanking plugs once the paint dries on them and make a couple of adjustments to the lid brackets as I am not happy with the fit.

The only reason the ute got finished as quick as it did was the parts come up for the right price at the wrong time. Once the stuff was here but , better to get it knocked over and stuff out of the way. Just have to get rid of the AU carcass out the back , tidy some stuff up and the Mav is back on.

You excited to get back into it? Whats the first thing your going to tackle on the Mav?
Its funny about right parts at the wrong time. Seems when your looking for something else, bargains come along for other projects that are suppose to be on the back burner. Like you said though, its done now. |
