Hi guys and girls,
I'm fairly new here so most of you probably won't know me.
For those of you that don't know me (most of you :D) , my name is Josh and I'm 15, turning 16 sometime in March.
I've recently bought this 1993 ED XR6 for my first car, which was a decent pickup at only $1900. It has done 230,000km, and is Polynesian green.
This is how she looked when I got her,

Since then I have put in fairmont carpet,
Image

Had the centre console re-trimmed,
Image
Image

Put a new hood lining in,
Image

Took these wheels off,
Image

And put the CSA optional ED XR6 wheels on,
Image
(Please excuse the missing wheel nut, I was one short :cray:)
Image

Then I bought some Tickford valve caps off eBay, and put them on,
Image

Then put a new Redback exhaust in since the other one was stuffed,
Image
Image
Image

The previous owner had a MASSIVE exhaust tip on it, which melted to the bumper,
Image

My dad fixed that problem,
Image

Then we put on a 2.5" twin angle-cut rolled exhaust tip on, (what a tongue twister!)
Image
Image
Image
Image

Then drained the oil and put clean oil in,
Image

Then put new nolathane bushes in,
Image

Put new rear brake discs & brake pads in, but only had to put new pads in the front because the discs were still good,
Image

This is how she looked after a quick wash,
Image
Image
Image

This is how she looks under the bonnet,
Image

Some things that need to be done are, re-paint the bootlid and spolier & re-paint the front and rear bumpers.

Sorry guys, but this one won't be boosted.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for looking + all your comments!

A bit of an update...

My pa painted the boot lid (excuse the dust),
Image
Image
Image

and the boot lid spoiler,
Image

here are a few pictures of them both,
Image
Image
Image

Also, the front bumper moulds got a coat of grey paint,
Image
Image

He also painted the hole in the bumper where the exhaust comes out of,
Image

We changed one of the number plate globes (due to it being blown),
Image

Dad got me some carpet mats (YAY  ),
Image

Also, I got some HPF (Horse Power Factory) stickers and trialed how they would look,
Image
Image

I know my car hasn't and most likely won't be tuned by HPF, but I should still be allowed to dream about it hehe :D :good:

And I am also going to buy a pair of "E-series owners club" stickers to put above the HPF stickers.

Yeah thanks,
I joined up at Ford Mods a while ago, but never really posted much.
Then I joined up at E-Series owners club and now I am on both.

holy faded grey inserts and the front and rear bars batman.

just a tip go to autobarns and buy some AutoGlym Bumper care and use that. you'll have to do it a few times so it soaks in but it'll come up good as new

Yeah, I've gotten the front bumper painted, but I think the rear bumper will be ok, otherwise I will get it painted.

Yeah, the first set of mags were ok, but they had really noisy tires on them. And I found the ED XR 16" options at a swap meet with new tires for only $250!
Thanks!
