tapets haven't worn or been run with out oil as our motor bike is the as ticks all the time

oil leaks are normal for older cars even b series have em ;) an the tick has been talked about it is not the lifters live with it its not that bad

well i had a look today the tick is coming from the 4thcylinder on the inlet side and it doesnt sound at all like a chain rubbing ..
also looking at getting a j3 chip to give it a little tune

well all depends who does the j3 as there are a few bad tuners out there my car was makin good power with that cam an a manual EL XR6 ecu 170 odd rwkw FTW

still have ecu if u are intrested

ok well i serviced the car yesterday the oil was discusting but it now doesnt tick.. i did also add some tapet free up solution which may have fixed the noise coz it aint there anymore..
hopefully next week ill have the car booked in at cve for tune and chip ...
a couple of little update i got my new sub in 2200rms 12" option audio. dual coil..
also went to the wreckers the other day and picked up new plastic parts that go on the dash and painted the in sparkling burgandy i reckon it gives it a very classy effect which is what im after..
thanks guys ill try to get some pic's up on monday

how well do the HIDs go in the standard reflector? Do you get alot of light scatter/funny beam pattern? etc, the colour looks real nice, i was considering the 8000k but im going to get 6000k so they are still bright and not atract to much attention from the cops.

well they where just perfect imo if they are aimed properly you get a good clear light... the 8000's are better imo more real white then the 6000's

thanks mate, yeah ive aimed my headlights quite a lot in the past so i should be fine. yeah i think the 8000k colour varies with kits, the place im going to buy the guy really recommended against it due to the poorer light brightness output and the lack on light in the rain, he did say they if im not happy with 6000k he would swap the bulbs for 8000k so i think im going to see how i go.
