Wow thats pretty good. Are you going to install it yourself? if not i wonder how much labour would be. If you haven't already give FTG a ring, i found hunting for parts online quite difficult.

Well the gearbox, diff and tailshaft will be done by a mechanic, and likewise with the bodykit as it doesn't fit properly, and has some work needed to make it fit.

Labour wise, probably cost me about $2500, but I've already budgeted for it.

Hmm ok, so probably about 5k for a complete manual conversion, not too bad, if my auto ever goes its definitely something ill consider :-) look forward to seeing your updates!

It's going to be a bit more than $5000 for the complete conversion, as I'm going to a T5Z (the turbo gearbox). For a T5 conversion, you'd probably only fork out $3000 total, as you won't need a different tailshaft and diff lol but I'm future proofing, as I'm hoping to have around 200-210rwkw for the tune day, and a N/A T5 won't hold that power for very long lol especially when I'm going to thrash the f!ck out of it

Update. I decided to get some bling happening in the engine bay and interior.

Jumped on evilbay, and started a buying frenzy... probably wasn't the best thing for my bank account, but meh... the shiny stuff got the best of me lol

List of things I bought are:

Leather Steering Wheel
BA High Series XR Cluster (Police Mode :D :D)
XR6 Scuff Plates
XR Logo to replace Ford logo on steering wheel
XR Badges for front and rear bars.
Billet Oil cap, Power Steering cap and oil dipstick
Polished Alloy fuse box cover
Polished Alloy ecu cover
Chrome bonnet struts

And also bought a 22mm rear sway bar

Was tempted to buy a polished rocker cover... but it was $300 so luckily my brain decided to function for 30 seconds so I didn't end up buying it lol

Next on the list is drilled and slotted discs with bendix ultimate pads :D

Hopefully have all the parts in this afternoon besides the front bar XR badge as I don't have the mesh in at the moment.

Anyone know how to remove the steering wheel without deploying the airbag into my face?

I just remove the fuse... Seems to do the trick.

Yeah no worries. First time i took mine off i was s**t myself! I even reached through the window to start the car the first time i got it all back together just in case... HAHA I've had my airbag out and wheel off a few times now no worries. And i would higly recommend a puller, even just an el cheapo from supercrap. They work a treat, even if you only use it once worth getting.
Cheers Paul.

Haha I know what you mean.

Only took me maybe 5 minutes to get the wheel off once I disconnected the batter and waited a few mins. It was putting it back on that took a little longer >.< The 2 Torx30 screws didn't want to align properly and screw in lol was a royal PITA.

None the less, had it off and new one on in under half hour with no worries :) Even tested the horn to make sure it worked, and I had no wucking forries.

Anyways, thought I'd post up pics of all the gear. Most of it has been put on the car already, I'll get pics for those tomorrow when there's light. Enjoy.
