I got a question for you. How hot was it when you went to the drags? What fuel did you use, and did you also take your spare and s**t out? Just curious as to why a ZF XR6 would run 0.6 seconds slower stock than a 5sp XT stock... And then there's other cars in Sydney etc that have run 14.4 - 14.5 stock (with the ZF though, quickest 5sp was 14.9 apparently)

Honest answer was running nothing but water for coolant cause ford won't fix the issue was 500km over due for a service had spare mag and tool kit in the boot and was only running 95 octane and had a full tank so she was on the heavy side running rough and wasn't as cool as she's supposed to be ever since I changed the coolant my self big improvement

Mine had been overdue for service by about 3000km lol still ran strong.
Maybe just the heat difference? Although my stock times were done when it was 26 degrees.

How did you stall it up? I previously used to only rev it enough to get the car up to 2500rpm and then just jump off the brake. Found that if you stomp both, get the throttle wide open it will launch so much harder (1/10th of a second quicker on the 60ft). After that run though, I just kept bagging it off the line cause the tyres were shagged lol
Looking at getting some 15's (if they fit over the rear brakes) and putting some drag radials on. Saves me belting my street tyres....

Mitch drove it but he said hard in the brake and eased the throttle upto 2000 but mine gets to 2500 sits there for 20seconds then it's almost like limp mode cuts all power drops to idle and then won't stall again for 5 mins hoping my tune fixes that

That's called your torque converter getting too hot lol of course it's not gonna like that!
All I do, is wait for both lanes to have staging lights done and ready. Then I stomp the brake, stomp the loud pedal and drop that s**t the moment the 2nd green light flashes (hopefully get a 0.000 reaction time lol) Easing throttle is good for manuals as you can control where the launch rpm is. With a stall, you want it up there asap

Well I'd love to go full XR6 Turbo Drive line conversion. 6Sp Manual, Turbo Tailshaft, M86 IRS. Would handle abuse quite well lol

Next time I run ill empty the boot no tools no mag and I'll try run half a tank instead of full tank just strip some weight
