Okay, exhaust goes on tomorrow morning before lunch. And I remembered I hadn't done a HP/TQ or a 0-100 run with the big mouth installed.

Went out to same area I usually do my s**t, and clocked a 6.51 0-100 with 158.5rwkw / 378rwnm.
Previous stock standard was 7.15 with 153rwkw / 320rwnm. So a bit of improvement considering.

Did 3 runs of each, and just picked the middle time / reading. All were done with 1/4 tank of 98, in sports shift with DSC on and at roughly the same temperature (32c for today).

Also filled the car up, $1.269/L - $1.409 for 98. 50L for $70, not bad at all lol

Ouch man, it's been cheap all work after xmas day really. Some places have jacked up well over $1.50/L, but most are floating in the low 30's

Same system as that TRY THIS, except I opted for Mild Steel. It's less tin noise, and produces a deeper note.

Exhaust is on, will upload a video of start up and rev etc when I have the car under the shed before I do the under drives and headlights.

It's quiet while idling (can barely hear it on camera from inside car, but it's more of a deep purr than a rumble, not intrusive at all). At about 2000-3000 rpm it's next to impossible to hear over road noise, which is perfect. No crackling on gear changes, just clean deep exhaust note.

Am a little annoyed with the place I went to for install. They would not put my Venom cat in, as it didn't have an O2 sensor bung, so it wouldn't meet their emissions standards. So I've left the standard cat in, but it cost me an extra $100 to fit because obviously more pipework had to made to give room for the factory cat (which is huge...)
Will just get the place down the road to do it, in the mean time I'll gut it rofl (saves you having to gut a cat Josh). Not sure why they wouldn't turn a blind eye for the cat, but he gave me the option of putting in a Euro Emissions one for $580... Kindly said no lol a dual 2.5" exhaust, competition headers, highest flowing cat possible; and you want to put in an emissions cat rofl bright sparks aye.

Other than that, it sounds great and it's no where near loud enough to wake up the block YET (might get the middle muffler section removed at a later stage, probably when I get cams end of the year).

Well I had the 4495's from the BA still, so all up the entire system with cat was $550 for system + $200 for the cat. $800 rounded up for that cat backwards. $500 for the 4495's though, then you need to install it (if you have a welder it's no problem...)
